New Plymouth Girls' High School is recognised both nationally and beyond New Zealand for providing excellence in education. New Plymouth Girls' High School warmly welcomes international students. As with all students in the school, our international students benefit not only from their studies but from the school's broader curriculum. The combination of the two provides them with scope to develop as people and to mature into young women well placed to achieve their goals in life.
We value the cultural diversity and consequent enrichment of the school community brought by our international students. It is our policy however, in our school of around 1360 students, to have no more than 30 international students. This ensures that our international students are integrated fully into school life and are able to share their experiences with New Zealand students. The friends they make will be friends for life.
